Search Engine Specialist
The candidate for this multi-faceted position is responsible for developing and executing Search Engine Optimization strategies, managing email campaigns, and performing campaign and website analysis.
This Search Engine Specialist will concentrate on supporting the marketing effort by maintaining the necessary website infrastructure, including a strong emphasis on identifying and implementing strategies for improved search engine placement and developing and maintaining website services that will support the operational functionality of client websites. This individual may also be responsible for conducting other technical functions in support of the client marketing efforts. These duties may include performing competitive product analysis; writing technical reviews of product features; structuring SQL queries in order to generate email address lists; enhancing lead generation creating capture and reporting systems using PHP and SQL, executing the technical aspect of email marketing campaigns, and generating reports for management.
The Search Engine Specialist position includes the following responsibilities:
- Working with clients and internal team to analyze and optimize websites against specific marketing metrics - adding, modifying, and removing placements as necessary
- Continually monitoring, testing, revising, and updating placements within existing deals
- On an on-going basis, generating multiple reports from both internal tracking tools and partners' external reporting tools, and aggregate data in a useful format to generate report(s) on findings.
- Providing strategic thinking in regards to measuring, analyzing, and reporting on campaign performance.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work well independently. The position requires the ability to learn new technologies and communicate effectively.
- BS in CIS or CS (or equivalent)
- 1 year advertising/interactive agency experience would be helpful
- Demonstrable base level understanding of website design and HTML as it pertains to SEO
- General knowledge of website traffic analytics software (Webtrends, HitBox, Urchin)
- Highly knowledgeable about natural search tactics and how website metrics are tracked (http headers, redirect, tracking pixels, etc.)
- Computer literate (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Desire to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment

The Search Engine Marketing Specialist is responsible for delivering and managing search engine media campaigns. The Search Engine Marketing pecialist will continuously identify and evaluate new opportunities for search engine marketing strategies and programs.
The Search Engine Marketing position includes the following responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of and optimizing multiple PPC campaigns: Developing and managing all aspects of bidding strategies for all paid search buys
