Survey Says Ecommerce Sites Need Product Image Zoom Feature

Millards recent survey of catalog experience finds that 73% of the respondents indicated that the "zoom" feature for enlarging the photo was "very important" when shopping on line. The quality of the descriptions of products sold on line continues to be lacking with 51% giving it a low rating. The over all experience is good for only 55% of visitors.

Despite the low experience rating, on-line sales grew last year briskly to $114 billion, a 51% increase year to year, and is poised for double-digit growth again this year to $144 billion.
